Passports/Documentation

Each member of your party MUST have a valid passport to enter Costa Rica. There are no exceptions! Generally, the standard time frame in which to apply for and receive a U.S. passport is four to six weeks. There are, however, several companies who will be happy to expedite this process for you, some in as little as three business days.  But beware:  Expedited passport services can be very expensive.
